is believed to be the vibrational sound of the whole cosmic
manifestation. "Shanti" (in Sanskrit) means peace. Peace for all of humanity, as well as for all living (and non living) beings in the universe. When you chant, "Om shanti shanti shanti", it's an invocation of universal peace. In Buddhist and Hindu traditions you chant shanti three times to represent peace in mind, body and spirit. |

It's been a very challenging year so far. In the last three months Om Shanti Sanctuary has been deluged by floods, heatwaves and now, dust storms and desertification.
On top of our biannual hay drive, we urgently need to address a considerable amount of flood damage.
